Hiking from Deep Cove to Lake Elsay, near Vancouver, British Columbia. Only attempt if you have determination of steel and preferably choose a sunny day.

ROUTE: Baden Powell - Three Chop - Perimeter - Mount Seymour - Lake Elsay Trail

TIME TO: 12 hours
TIME BACK: 10 hours
ELEVATION: 1240m up + 400m descent to lake.
LEVEL: Difficult

WARNING: The last 1/3 of Perimeter Trail after Goldie Lake is extreme backcountry. Little to no markings, zero trail, not maintained, only thick bush. Only enter if you have pants, bear protection, a compass, map, or some sort of navigation system OR YOU WILL GET LOST. Trust me. Even with Google Map's aid it still happened. After this bush you still have about 6 hours left of hiking.

This was my very first hike that was longer than 5 hours, first time hiking with a backpack, and first time in the backcountry, the majority accomplished in my lonesome. Highly recommend, but with a buddy :)
