——সংগীত নিয়ে কিছু কথা——
'গান হলো এক ধরনের loud tinking(জোরালো অভিমত) এর মতো, জীবনের আনন্দ বেদনা ও দুঃখের যে ভাব প্রকাশ মানুষ মনে মনে বলে চলে তারই উচ্চারিত রুপ ধরা দেয় কবিতা বা গল্পে, সেই কবিতা আর গল্পে যখন কেউ চিন্তা ও আবেগর ভাব প্রকাশের মাধ্যমে সুর সৃষ্টি করে তা শিল্পীর কন্ঠে তুলে দেন তখন সেটি গান হয়ে আমাদের মাঝে অনুভূতির প্রকাশ হয়ে উঠে৷
গান বা সংগীত আমাদের বাংলা চলচ্চিত্রে একটি অবিচ্ছেদ্য অংশ, গান ছাড়া আমাদের সিনেমা দর্শকরা কল্পনাও করতে পারেননা, অসংখ্য অসংখ্য জনপ্রিয় গান আছে আমাদের বাংলা চলচ্চিত্রে, যা বলে হয়তো শেষ করা যাবেনা, এমন অনেক ছবিও আছে শুধুমাত্র গানের জনপ্রিয়তার কারনে সেসব ছবি ব্যাবসায়ীক সফলতায় উৎরে গেছে, একটি পূর্নাঙ্গ গানের পিছনে গীতিকার তার কথায় একটি দেহ(প্রতিকী হিসেবে) তৈরি করেন, তাতে সুর দিয়ে প্রান সঞ্চার করেন সুরকার, কন্ঠ শিল্পী বাদ্যযন্ত্রের সহায়তায় সেটিকে কন্ঠে তুললে তা গান হয়ে পৌছায় শ্রোতাদের কাছে৷
মূলত এখানে কোন বানিজ্যিক উদ্দেশ্যে নয় বরং বাংলা চলচ্চিত্রের গানের প্রতি ভালোবাসা ভালোলাগা ও নতুন দিনের শ্রোতাদের কাছে আমাদের বাংলা গানকে তুলে ধরারই প্রয়াস মাত্র৷
