What is Data Validation?
Data validation is a process that ensures the delivery of clean and clear data to the programs, applications using it. It checks for the integrity and validity of data that is being inputted to different software and its components. Data validation ensures that the data complies with the requirements and quality benchmarks.
Sometimes, however, you may want to use more than one drop down lists in Excel such that the items available in a second drop down list are dependent on the selection made in the first drop down list.
These are called dependent drop down lists in Excel.
