I came up with an idea of program, allowing to surf and easily save fav. pictures on some of that anime imageboards out there in the internet, a while ago and tried to accomplish it without even knowing about things like multithreading and stuff. So, I gave up at the point, when animation freezes and process stop responding every time, when application busy receiving the next image from the web. I recently found this pieces of bad code and decided to fix them. As the result, here is my screensaver, that shows pictures, randomly picked from one of the various imageboards, supported by this app. It could be any site, running on Gelbooru engine. Primarily, it was tested on safebooru.org, gelbooru.com and meme.booru.org. This version still needs improvement of rendering methods. If program is running slower, than you expected, firstly, you can try to change config.ini with [FORCE_RESOLUTION="1"] and [SMOOTH_ROTATION="0"]. Then you can lower resolution by setting variable "WIDTH" with less value. Height will be calculated in proportion to the aspect ratio of your screen.
