Ten years ago, a virus, the Cromosyn, caused the deadliest pandemic that took the lives of billions of people. The virus on infection of a human brings them back to life but in a zombie state that is hungry for flesh. The virus lives in the saliva and spreads from zombies to humans through bites. This outbreak started a deadly war between humans and zombies and was eventually won by humans when the Brimstone Protocol was activated, that involved bombing the zombie-infested areas.
