Flushing Kills the Engine (Part 3 - Oil Test!)
This time, we tested the effect of flushes on oil seals when mixed with oil in the proportions recommended by the manufacturer.
Methodology:
The oil is heated to 100-110 degrees in a flask along with the oil seal. After 10 minutes, the oil seal is removed from the flask and compared with a standard.
Repetitions: 3 (with results shown after the 1st and 3rd attempts).
