Brainwashed Republic - Neeraj Atri - Part 1 -
In this Indic Talk, Neeraj Atri talks about how Indian education system is creating a brainwashed republic by teaching them false history, which, under Marxist influence, portrays Hindu history, culture, customs, festivals and beliefs in negative light. He discusses how the Vedas are portrayed as if they encourage superstition and ecologically disastrous behavior.
One would suppose that all religions are portrayed negatively in these books written by expert writers of NCERT. However, the shocking fact is that while Hinduism and Hindu society is portrayed in as negative light as possible, Islam and Muslim society as well as Islamic history are showered with extraordinary praises. While the greatest of Hindu heroes are dismissed in footnotes as brigands and petty chieftains, the most barbaric Islamic invaders are apologized for. While Hindu scriptures are scoured for quoting the passages which can be portrayed in the most negative light, the same treatment is not met to either The Bible andThe Quran. On the contrary Islamic and Christian religious texts are praised to the skies.
Neeraj Atri also attracts our attention to the fact both The Bible and The Quran not only condone but endorse and institutionalize slavery. Instead of highlighting these negative aspects of these scriptures, Indian textbooks completely ignore them and instead praise them by quoting certain passages and incidents out of context.
Neeraj Atri tries to attract our attention to the fact that how Indian textbooks are anti-Hindu, pro-Islamic, pro-Christian, pro-Marxist and how they are helping deconstruct Hindu society from within by deracinating Hindu children and students by teaching them false history about their own culture and civilization.
