(This video is relevant for many.) The contents of the bags may vary depending on the requirements of your maternity hospital. This list was required in St. Petersburg.
Items on the list may be repeated - you only need one copy of everything (except diapers, postpartum pads, and nappies).
ANTENATAL WARD:
1. Gown and nightgown
2. Document folder
3. Slippers and socks
4. Soap, tissue paper, toothbrush, toothpaste, and personal care products (skin care)
5. Towel, comb
6. Change of underwear
7. Cup
MATCH ROOM:
1. Phone and charger
2. 5-6 disposable nappies
3. Washable slippers and socks
4. Water with a spout
5. Personal hygiene products (toothpaste, toothbrush, toilet paper, chapstick, etc.)
6. Towel
7. Postpartum pads
8. Underwear
9. Baby wet wipes
10. Comb
11. Hair tie
For baby: 5-6 diapers, 2 caps without ties, 2 pairs of wool socks
POSTPARTUM WARD:
1. Large pads
2. Disposable or cotton panties
3. Nursing pads
4. 2 nursing bras
5. Personal hygiene items (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, etc.)
6. Breast cream for cracked breasts
7. Towel
8. Robe and nightgown
9. Slippers and socks
10. Cosmetics for baby and yourself
11. Diapers
12. Baby clothes (3-4 onesies, undershirts, a couple of diapers)
13. Wet wipes
DISCHARGE BAG - weather-appropriate, don't forget your own clothes, preferably the ones you wore during pregnancy.
