Hyundai has publicly declared its intention to manufacture an affordable electric car poised to compete with other compact EVs, potentially exerting a significant influence on the automobile industry.
The significance of this move lies in the fact that many electric cars priced below $25,000, such as the discontinued Chevrolet Bolt EV and EUV, have left a void in the market despite the escalating demand for economical, CO2 emission-free vehicles.
This forthcoming electric vehicle will be an electric version of the Hyundai Casper, positioning it in direct competition with other budget-friendly cars like the Dacia Spring, Citroen E-C3, and Renault Twingo.
