A cashier sales transaction is a cash sale to a customer. The cashier will input the items purchased by the customer, and the customer will pay the amount of their purchases, either in cash, bank transfer, debit card, credit card, or e-money.
The cashier keeps the cash payment and hands it over to the supervisor when the transaction closes (when changing cashiers). Therefore, cashiers must be careful about this sales deposit, ensuring it is neither under nor overdrawn.
