2004 eMachines W3050 running Windows XP Home Edition SP2
I finally got this PC working! Turns out that this PC does not have a CPU fan, so I poorly installed one, and it works without shutting down and buzzing. I also added some parts from my eMachines T2958 as well, mostly another fan and a 80GB HDD. And before you ask, I got this PC from that one yard sale, and instead of paying $5 for it, I got it for free, that's right, free. (no I didn't steal it the lady actually let me have it for free).
Specs:
AMD Sempron 3000+ (shows up as an Athlon XP)
NVidia GeForce 4 MX
512MB RAM
80GB HDD
Windows XP Home Edition with Service Pack 2
Basically I used the W3502 recovery media from the Internet Archive to restore this PC to factory defaults.
