Whiplash is a film about a drummer called Neiman, and his dream of becoming the greatest drummer of all time, and his relationship with his band instructor Fletcher. This is perhaps the most famous scene in the film. During this scene Neiman first encounters confilct between him and fletcher. This is caused by Fletcher not being happy with the tempo Neiman is playing at, due to him being ever so slightly off.
