Description:
Teachers are the most critical group shaping the future of education. With AI rapidly advancing in educational settings, it is essential to equip both pre-service and in-service teachers with not only awareness but also practical competencies to use AI tools effectively. This presentation introduces educators to a range of AI resources by comparing and demonstrating educational platforms such as EduAI, MagicSchool, and others, highlighting their unique features and potential applications. This session also places a strong emphasis on hands-on strategies for writing effective AI prompts. Participants will learn how to craft clear, purposeful, and actionable prompts; apply a simple yet powerful prompt framework; and explore ready-to-use prompt templates for lesson planning, rubric design, and other teaching related tasks. This presentation is designed for educators who want to understand not only what AI can do, but also how to use it in meaningful and pedagogically sound ways. It aims to equip teachers with practical skills to navigate the growing role of AI in education.
