Saoji or Savji cuisine comes from the community by the same name. The community is concentrated in places bordering Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra.
Our home-chef Praffulata hails from Hubli, Karnataka and will be preparing delicious, spicy dishes from her hometown. The recipes and flavours are quite different from the version that is available in Nagpur!
She stays in her ancestral 60 year old home in Goregaon East, Mumbai and will be cooking up a storm with Saoji delicacies like Khara Boti, Mutton Chops, Saoji Mutton Gravy, Edmi which is a spicy puri and more! You won't find these flavours in any restaurant, so come on over!
