Shanklin beach Isle of Wight
Use pick up truck to take jet ski trailer into sea.
Bad idea.
Get jetski to tow pickup. fail.
Get van to tow pickup. fail.
get 2 vans to tow pickup. fail. One van hets stuck in the soft sand.
Mighty recovery vehicle with winch arrives, tows van to safety. You would assume that it would then be asked to tow the pickup. but no!
Friend with Landrover arrives, tries to tow pickup. fail.
They discuss for 10 minutes while water rises above radiator of pickup.
Agree that the recovery vehicle should tow the pickup.
Success!
4 member of the coastguard and 2 police. Let's hope noone was in serious trouble elsewhere.
