Part One of Cobra Vector Design on Affinity Designer Version 1
Part one of a two part demonstration doing a digital art of a cobra. This step by step using Affinity V1. This pencil art starts out with an outline drawing of the cobra. The outboard is 300 dpi which will be used for digital reproduction for outer wear. Then I go over the drawing using vector tools to make he digital line art. After that is done than I use the pen tool to fill in the lines with various colors for the scales in layers.
Switching to Affinity Designer v2, I did the digital vector artwork using Affinity Designer v2 on my IPad Air. I will show that later.
Using vector art to paint animals, cars and text by using Affinity Designer works for me. This is a long step by step progress using this software. Check back from time to time and watch the progress I make; you’re going to see a lot of mis-steps, screws and goofs but that is how the digital sausage is made before it looks good. This particular project will show me doing various types of art styles using the pen and brush and other tools on this program. This is going to be time consuming and long but please stay with me as we see the process. Please check out my other videos that I have. I love using the Affinity suite and the price is great and I want to keep using this program. I also use the whole Affinity series software and will hopefully use them on this channel for other art projects.
