Step one to solving the 1d heat equation
In this video, I showed you the first step to solving the 1d heat equation. In particular, I showed you how we use the separation of variables to generate 2 ordinary differential equations. Hope this video at least gives you an idea about what solving PDEs can look like. It is pretty wild stuff but equally powerful for modeling real-world phenomena.
