Using rendering to show materials with holes in Fusion 360

Sometimes, you may wish to model a part with a large number of holes in it. An example is anything made of preforated sheet metal. Adding each of these holes as a model feature is tedius as well as a real performance-killer. By using the materials library, you can make a solid plate of material APPEAR to be a preforated sheet, or indeed, any kind of form. This allows for great performance, good looks, and easier definition (once added to the material library). This is one of a series of videos I'm making exploring the options in Fusion 360 rendering and their usefulness. Hope it helps!
