Frequency BFO Correction after V.2 HW modification
After installing the SI4732 Chip V2 FPC module I see that on all modded radios the BFO setting needs to be manually adjusted to get the receiver frequency exactly on frequency, because SSB signals sounds like a Micky Mouse. It's boring always manually adjusting BFO, because after every reboot this new BFO setting is erased. Therefore, I did this repair directly on the FPC Board.
The reason why I use a frequency of 14.200 on the generator and 14.199 on the receiver is that in USB modulation this tuning produces exactly a 1kHz tone in the speaker, which I can easily measure using the Spectroid mobile application. If I measure a value other than 1kHz, it means that the receiver is detuned from the actual frequency. In this case, it was over 300Hz, which is quite a lot.
