Emergency drill in evacuating a platform
A platform engulfed in flames is a horror scenario for all in the offshore industry. Should it happen, however, an effective rescue and life-saving treatment of the wounded is crucial.
In collaboration with Maersk training ESVAGT staged a disaster on the 'Stardos' platform in Esbjerg Harbor, where a total of 18 figurants were recovered from the water by the crew from 'Esvagt Connector'. The figurants had scores of injuries and gave the crew members essential training.
