Do you struggle with insecurity, anxiety, frustration, irritability? Are you tired a lot? Have you considered the amount of time you spend scrolling on social media platforms? Might be time for a break...
I took 3 months off from using my personal social media account, and instead focused my energy and time on developing professionally and personally. In this video I talk about why I decided to take a break, and the noticeable difference in my confidence and overall mental health that resulted.
Just by scrolling, we add thousands of quick judgements and decisions to our day. This trains us to be quick to judge others and adds to burnout, anxiety, and mental fatigue. When we stop wasting our brain space on pointless judgements and comparisons, we can turn focus to what actually matters in life.
I think if we use technology as a tool, rather than letting technology use us we’d be a lot better off. Use it to learn, create, grow! Don’t let it steal your life.
Thanks to my love, Jeff, for letting me drive his Bronco for a day. Way cooler on camera than my sedan. :)
