Hello friends I am comparing two great snare drum microphone from Shure. The Microphone are Shure Sm57 & Shure Pga57. Both of the microphone is specialised for drum recording, most of the snare drum recording & Guitar amplifier cabinet recording.
I am comparing both of the microphone at the same time on snare drum recording. In my opinion Shure Sm57 is powerfull and sound is punchy compare to Shure Pga57. Shure Pga57 have good Low end and mid frequency. Shure Sm57 Is balanced low mid and high section. The drum recording with Focusrite 2i2 and daw is Cubase pro 13 , Gain level are same of two mics that is 12 o clock. and recorded sound is no any eq and Processing.
