In this webinar, Chris Hansen from Columbia University will shows how to use Coreform Cubit to generate suitable meshes for finite element analysis of nuclear fusion applications with the open-source toolkit Open FUSION. He will demonstrate every stage of preparation, including multiple methods of model creation in Coreform Cubit, model cleanup with the "imprint and merge" feature, using Quality Metrics to identify bad elements, and using block assignments to define regions. Dr. Hansen will also walk through how Coreform Cubit interfaces with a third-party solver via Python scripting.
