June 2024 is struggling, very, very hard, to deliver summer weather. Compared to previous years, it's a significant drop; compared to the 70s and 80s, it's standard fare.
In this "standard fare," we're currently dealing with a small summer storm low in the northwest, bringing strong winds and rain, and on the southern side of the Alps, an area of heavy rain with the risk of flooding.
After this week's low-pressure system, we could briefly experience a period of high temperatures in a week's time. This would be short-lived, and then what would give way to whom? That's right, the rain...
