We returned the car on credit to the car dealership AC "First", also known as AC "Sokolniki".
A married couple contacted our company after being lured by a slick online ad about a car sale at the Perviy Auto Center dealership located at 2 Krasnobogatyrskaya St., Bldg. 22, Moscow (Sokolniki metro station). Upon arriving at the dealership, they found a beautiful showroom and polite, smiling managers who quickly took the gullible pensioners' down payment and issued an ultimatum: if they didn't buy the car, they wouldn't get their money back! As it turned out, the car they picked up had a surprise: it had been damaged in several accidents, and the odometer had been rolled back by half. Realizing their blunder, the gullible buyers tried to return the car themselves, but the same managers rudely turned them away. Then we got involved.
We prepared and filed a claim with the car dealership for pre-trial dispute resolution, but received no response. We decided to resolve the matter on-site with a film crew from the Russia 1 TV channel.
SPOILER: We successfully returned the car, and the client received the full amount.
