The lowest temperature at the summit of Towada-Hachimantai National Park in midsummer is 16℃
Even though it was August, we felt cold instead of cool while sleeping in the car.
After trekking through the spectacular Hachimantai, it started to rain.
We spent a very cool and comfortable night sleeping in the car in the rain.
The view of the sea of clouds the next morning was spectacular!
