Dark Cloud 2 Glitch - Fighting With A Fishing Rod & Side Effects
Using the name change ticket, you can get rid of all of Max's wrenches to force the game to have Max hold the fishing rod during battle. Doing this has many side effects, including being alive with 0 HP, flashing or different colored enemies that aren't solid, and invisible in-game text. The crash from using escape powder is actually a separate glitch, and I didn't realize this until much later. If you use an escape powder when you are playing as Max in fishing mode, the game can crash depending on the model that's on screen in the item menu, and the song that will play when the rod gets unequipped after using the powder.
Also, sorry about the sound only being in 1 speaker, the PS2 AV cord I had at the time was partially broken, and I didn't know how to change the saved audio format to mono.
