In the beginning, the universe held many great entities, vast in size and power.
After time immeasurable, however, these entities were split in two.
=One, a being of true neutrality, split into the gods of Order and of Chaos, locked in a stalemate, waiting for their pawns to move.
=Another, a being of war and conflict, split into the goddesses of Archery and of Defense, fated as both mortal enemies and dear lovers.
=Yet another, a being encapsulating the equivalency of all things, was split into a god that became the Universe, and a god that became Destruction.
Then, after time immeasurable, the gods created People. And now we lie, centuries later, and the ties of these old gods run thick through the universe, even after their severing.
