Boral Quarries Reclaims 2.4 Million Cubic Meters of Waste Material with McLanahan Filter Press
With its McLanahan Filter Press, Boral has reclaimed 2.4 million cubic meters of solid material from the tailings stream at its Bacchus Marsh Quarry. The company is also able to recover 70% of the water for reuse in the plant and has eliminated the use of its slime cells for storing the tailings.
