This Copy of Mario 64 Has Problems. | Hacklets Episode 3
Hacklets is a series where you, the viewers, get to change a ROM of Super Mario 64 in whatever way you see fit! Each viewer will get to suggest one change that may be added in the next episode by commenting below. There are of course a few rules to follow, listed here:
A commented change has a good chance of being added if it is smaller in scope or unique.
Changes can alter Mario, objects, textures, behaviors, and game logic.
Changes can NOT alter stages or models, add custom models, mechanics, or behaviors, and can not make the game alone unplayable. These restrictions will gradually be dropped as the series progresses.
Smaller changes have more magnitude to them. For instance, a broad change like “make Mario slower” will only have a slight effect, but a change like “decrease Mario’s long jump speed” will significantly decrease it. This is to keep the game’s sanity in check and make one comment a relatively small change that adds to a pile of comments that warp the game.
Complex changes may be simplified depending on how many comments there are and how complicated the change requested is.
Only one change per person, per video. Every time a new Hacklets video is released, comments on older videos will be ignored, but people can add another change if they had commented on a previous video.
There will be a maximum of 50 changes per video.
