A quick-ish video of my 3D printer printing out parts for an Open Source Satellite Tracking System.

SatNOGS is a lightweight portable satellite tracking system which can be reproduced relatively quickly and cheaply by anyone.

The system was designed by SatNOGS and is available for anyone to download and build. All of the design files are on the SatNOGS.org website with instructions on how to build and assemble everything - including the antennas.

If you fancy trying out some Satellite Communications or just some plain old eaves dropping then SatNOGS is for you!

I should point out that I am in no way affiliated with SatNOGS. I purely came across their project and was so impressed by its simplicity that I had to give it a try and give those guys a mention for their hard work an ingenuity.

Why are more people not building these????

I will make a future video on my SatNOGS build once I have printed out the required parts, made the PCB boards and sourced everything required to start and complete the build.

All of the parts are being printed out of black 1.75mm PLA at 0.25mm layer height using a 0.4mm nozzle. Nozzle temps for my PLA are set to 197 Degrees C and my bed temp is 65 Degrees C for the first layer and 60 Degrees C for all other layers.
