This is the Omega Planet Ocean series.

A beautiful automatic chronograph.

The movement is C.O.S.C. officially certified chronometer.

It has Omega's inhouse Calibre 9300.

It has George Daniels " Co-axial escapement".

This escapement is known for its minimum friction in the escapement thus longer life of the watch and almost no maintenance.

It also has the silicon balance spring which is uniform through out its length and never ever looses its shape.

Silicon is non-magnetic so the performance of the silicon balance-spring is not disturbed by exposure to magnetic objects.

The caliber has a 60hours power reserve because of double barrels.
Personally I wished it had a 70hours power reserve but anyway its fine.

The watch is 45.5mm in size including the crown.

It is made of very high quality stainless steel, with parts in brushed and high polish finish.

It is a tank of a watch, about 20mm thick from the base to the top of the crystal.

It can't be worn under the sleeves, maybe just barely.

It has a ceramic bezel which is stamped with the numbers and minute markers.

The bezel is unidirectional diver's bezel with 120 clicks.

The is absolutely no play in the bezel to move even slightly on the other side.
Just perfect job Omega.

The watch has a domed sapphire crystal on the face and flat sapphire crystal at the back.

The crystals have double Anti Reflective coating that is on both the sides so the dial looks so clear as if one can actually touch the dial.

The dial is charcoal black in colour. Beautiful applied hour markers. The Omega sign with the Seamaster in orange looks really good.

There is a date window at 6o'clock position.

The hour markers, all the six hands and the marker on the bezel are applied with Superluminova. The watch looks stunning in the dark.

Extremely good dial to read. I love this dial a lot.

The watch has 2 pushers and 2 screw down crowns.
The crown at 3o'clock position is used to set the date and time.
It can individually move just the hour hand like a GMT watch which is a good thing.
The same crown can be also used to manually wind the watch.
The other crown at 10o'clock position is a manual helium escape valve.
I personally like the "He" valve popping out at that position. Try removing that and the watch looses its good looks.
The 2 pushers at 2o'clock and 4o'clock positions are to start, stop and reset the chronograph of the watch.

I rarely use this watch cz I dont want to scratch it and don't want to lose my investment for the future. It could be a good deal of money later on in my life.
It also costs like a small car here in India but unlike cars I have not insured or used any Insurance policy nor have I used any finances or loan to buy this master piece all my hard earned money.I absolutely love this watch.

This is my number three watch if we take into consideration my top 20 watches.
Purchased on 5th Nov 2012 in India.
