I recently had the incredible opportunity to attend an executive leadership team-building training in Medellín, Colombia , with the amazing company I work for as a Director of Revenue Cycle Management. 🌟 This experience not only expanded my understanding of team dynamics but also introduced me to the transformative concepts of Lean and Six Sigma in executive leadership. Learning these methodologies was both exciting and empowering, as I couldn't wait to bring these new strategies back to my team to enhance our professional growth and workflows.
Beyond the professional growth, this trip was personally enriching as well. Despite relying heavily on my trusty Google Translator app to communicate in Spanish, the people I met were so patient and kind. Their warmth and openness made the experience unforgettable. It was incredible to step outside of my comfort zone and immerse myself in a new culture, gaining fresh perspectives that I can apply to many areas of my life.
From exploring new concepts in leadership to embracing a different way of life, this journey reminded me of the power of growth—both professionally and personally. 🌍 I hope sharing this experience inspires others to take similar steps toward breaking their comfort zones and unlocking their full potential!
