How Did THIS Happen?? - Madame Web Takes a Giant Spider-DUMP on Fans
Is it even worth it anymore? In an age where superhero movies are half of what we see, and fans don't really want to see them anymore, why is this movie happening? The MCU introduced audiences to a whole new world of superhero content, in a way thats never been done before. An interconnected world with stories that spanned over multiple years. And it was incredible...until it wasn't. Maybe it was super hero fatigue, but i tend to believe that with creativity lacking, shallow stories, and films made by mandate, the mcu lost its touch. And Sony's spiderverse seems to be following suit with another shallow "reimagining" of a character that most people have never even heard of. Those who have heard of Madame Web will watch the trailer for the upcoming film and see no trace of her to be found. That is to say that while the film might be TITLED Madame Web, the studio is simply using the name to draw attention to its project that it doesn't deserve, that it hasn't earned. Another re-telling of a classic character, where they slap the name onto the screen so people will show up, then tell a story that hardly resembles the character in question. Who needs a review, anyhow... Let's get into it.
