Energy Airforce developed and published by Taito Corporation in 2002 for Playstation 2 was one of the few flight games for consoles that tried to bring realism to casual gamer. This game was a precursor to Energy Airforce Aimstrike! for PS2 and Over G Fighters for XBOX 360.

You can take a seat in F-16C Falcon, F-22 Raptor and at the time still a prototype X-35 Joint Strike Fighter. Missions were pretty action packed and with limited weapon supply they ended fairly quickly.

But before you could get into any action you had to pass a license for every aircraft you wanted to take into combat. License mode acted as a training tool which would teach the newly wanna-be-pilot how to operate these deadly machines.

This is what will fill up upcoming 4 parts - boring (more or less) training. But it has to be done if we want to dive into some combat later, so let's get into it.

In part 1 we will learn basic flight manouvers ... sheesh
