Pregnancy Care

You might be thinking of the best habits and tips that can be added to a pregnant woman's routine. The following are the tips:
A regular exercise habit will keep your body healthy, which will ensure a smooth pregnancy with the least complications. Walking for 20 minutes daily, doing yoga and performing stretching exercise keep your body muscles active.
Eating healthy food which includes fruits and green vegetables.
Pregnant women should go for a regular check-up.

Garbh Sanskar

Garbh Sanskar is a scientific way of providing mental health to the unborn child inside the womb. Along with physical health, a child needs to be mentally healthy too. The sanskar is necessary for the mental wellbeing of the unborn child. The activities which a pregnant woman is performing will affect the mental health of an unborn child. So, a pregnant woman should spend most of her time in a positive environment which will enhance the Manshakti (positive emotions). She should be chanting prayers and practice meditation and yoga for mental peace. The touch and the conversation with the fetus have positive effects on the overall health of the fetus.

Breastfeeding

Breastfeeding is the procedure by which the mother feed her breast milk to her baby. The first breastfeeding should be performed within one hour of the birth of the baby. In the initial weeks or months, the baby may feed for ten to fifteen minutes every two to three hours. The baby should be fed with only colostrum in the initial six months of birth. Mothers should be aware of the necessity of breast milk for the growth and health of their baby. Breastfeeding reduces the chances of many diseases in the baby and enhances their immunity.
