The Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget 2023-24 in Parliament on 1st February 2023. There are certain changes proposed in the CGST Act & IGST Act in the Finance Bill, 2023, on the basis of recommendations made by the GST Council. These changes broadly relate to facilitation/simplification and improving compliances.
