Apple announced the iPad Mini 3. The only major change is the addition of Touch ID, which is just a fancy way of securing your tablet. The new iPad Mini 3 is still using last year's A7 processor.
The iPad Mini 3 starts at 399 dollars, while the iPad Mini 2 has gotten a pricecut and is available starting at 299 dollars. One hundred dollars is a lot of money for just a Touch ID security system.
We reckon the iPad Mini 2 would be the better buy if you are looking for a 7.9 inch mini tablet.
And if you are looking for a bigger tablet. The rumours about the iPad Air 2 were true. It's thinner, had the Touch ID system and uses the A8X processor in order to be the fastest mobile Apple product to date. The iPad Air 2 starts at 499 dollars.
