Microsoft, SpaceX partner for satellite cloud services
Microsoft will award a contract with SpaceX, the space exploration company
led by Elon Musk, to provide satellite-based cloud services to challenge the market leader, Amazon. According to the report, Microsoft will use a large number of SpaceX's low-orbit satellites and traditional high-altitude satellites to connect and roll out new services.
