In August 2022, Pastor John K. Jenkins, Sr., accepted the role as interim President of Converge at the Converge Board of Overseers' request for a two-year term until the Converge Biennial meeting.
The Converge Board of Overseers, in a spirit of unwavering unity and support, has recommended Pastor Jenkins for a new six-year term as Converge President. This nomination, backed by the board's unanimous support, will be presented at the 2024 Biennial meeting.
Pastor Jenkins and Pastor Darryn Scheske, Board Chair of Converge, reflect on and celebrate God's faithfulness toward Converge for the past two years. As a movement of churches focused on starting and strengthening churches together worldwide so that more people can meet, know and follow Jesus, there is much to look forward to and much to be done.
