In an air vacuum chamber, where there is no air resistance, two objects of different masses fall at the same rate because gravity accelerates all objects equally regardless of their mass. This uniform acceleration due to gravity is approximately 9.81 meters per second squared (often rounded to 10 m/s² for simplicity). The lack of air resistance means that the only force acting on the objects is gravity, causing them to fall at the same rate. This principle was famously demonstrated by Galileo and later confirmed during the Apollo 15 moon landing when a 🪶 feather and a 🔨 hammer were dropped simultaneously and hit the ground at the same time.
