➔ Annie Ainsley tells us how she met her first and last love. It is about Dwight Billings, a man who inherited the house of his rich aunt and who barely leaves his house due to the betrayal of a woman. That beautiful woman named Bernette shows up at Dwight's house with her new husband. But when she says goodbye to leave. Dwight recommends a divorce lawyer. Suggesting that she and her husband should divorce. Bernette returns to Dwight. And Annie takes advantage of Bernette's oversight to gain some ground. Well, she had her eyes on Dwight too. But Dwight discovers Bernette's deception and suspects that she is back with her ex-husband. So he ends up accidentally killing her. That same night Annie shows up at Dwight's house, with the excuse of having lost her keys. However, she takes the opportunity to suggest that he marry her and thus heal her love wounds. Faced with Dwight's rejection, Annie decides to go to her house. On the way to the front door she discovers that Bernette was there and something violent had to happen. Jean and Paul tell Annie that Bernette disappeared. A few weeks later, Dwight shows up at Annie's house to propose. But Annie's suspicions about that night make her doubt her. She though she finally decides that Dwight might not have been capable of committing murder. And she decides to trust him.
