USCIS Receipt Notice Delays and Rejections | I-485 and I-140 filed with USCIS Lockbox
USCIS Lockbox has yet to issue receipt notices for applications submitted in the end of October. USCIS has not processed payment of the filing fees or acknowledged receipt of the applications for over 2 months. Additionally, USCIS is rejecting some I-485 applications for employment-based derivative applicants when boxes 3.a. and 9 in Part 2. “Application Type or Filing Category” are left blank on pages 3 and 4 of the Form I-485.
