In this video, I start off on a small island with very little in traditional mineral resources but quite rich in oil. The video demonstrates the construction of an oil well and an iron ore mine, plus infrastructure (such as garages and roads). This is followed by a Diplomatic Ministry which allows you to ask for development aid from the US or USSR. After getting Development Aid from the USSR, you can build cheaper tenements and apartments.
The video also displays some unhappy people protesting which can be quelled if you micromanage your avatar to do so
