Handley Page Victor In Clouds Over Norfolk - MSFS 2020
This evening I took a bimble in the setting sun through some clouds in this splendid Handley Page Victor, for me one of the most beautiful aircraft ever made. It was like a flying machine straight out of Thunderbirds. 86 Victors were made and they served from 1958 until 1993 as strategic bombers and tankers.
I used to park my car behind the port wing of the Victor standing on the edge of Marham's central car park and wonder at it's design and how planes don't look the same nowadays. Sadly this Victor was scrapped in 2020. As of today it is still visible on Google Maps.
The Victor outlived both the Valiant and Vulcans but is often forgotten about and for it's size and role had quite aerobatic performance. In 1958 at Farnborough one example performed several loops and a barrel roll.
