Lundbreck Falls | Minivan Camping in Crowsnest Pass | Frank Slide
After a long hiatus, we are finally traveling again! After cancelling our dream vacation to Asia and amending our original road trip to British Columbia; we decided to embark on a 15 day road trip across our home province of Alberta.
Day 5 - Lundbreck Falls | Frank Slide | Van Camping in Crowsnest Pass.
We left Waterton and made our way down to Crowsnest Pass making quick stop to Lundbreck Falls. After the Falls we continued to Crowsnest pass and made a pit stop at the Frank Slide Interpretive Centre; however, it was closed due to Covid, but the views of Franks Slide were fantastic. With all the reserved camping sites booked; we took a shot in the dark and made our way to Island Lake Provincial Recreation Area which ended up having some free first come first serve camping spots available.
We enjoyed the afternoon on the lake; however, we got caught in severe thunderstorm for the rest of the evening, leaving us no choice but to hunker down in the van until the morning.
