This is an example why safety is so important in freediving 💙
During my training dive in September 2021, coming up to the surface from 63 meters, I felt that I did not recover from previous training, and got very tired.
It was supposed to be a standard training dive, my personal best in CNF is 65 meters...
I started pulling the rope at 25 meters, but it was still a long way to go. Without hesitation I asked for assistance... My underwater angel Nejc was there with a scooter and with his help we reached the surface very quickly. I was conscious and you can see my facial expressions don't lie: tired, but smiling ☺️
In fact, it was the first time ever I asked for help during my dive. And I am grateful that help was there 😍
This is all to say, you never know when you need help. Stay safe and dive with a competent safety that you can fully rely on 😉
