HOW to create GRITTY DRUMS on the MPC 60
#mpc60 #boombapbeats #grittydrums #musictutorials #howtoboombapdrums
This is a short tutorial about how to get gritty boombap drums!
I use the #mpc2000 for quick chops and to push the record input gain of the mpc60.
The harder you push the record input gain, the more it gets distorded. So by tweaking the mpc 2000 output volume you can find a good balance with a little distortion in the drums to give them more presence and making them sound more aggrasive and gritty.
Hope to get you inspired, peace!
