Making a Boom Bap Beat On Bandlab App @bandlab
Lets do an oldschool sampling technique in the @bandlab app! 🎛🥁🔥
Here is what i did:
I chopped up a composition by my brother @moolattemusic
And copied that sequence to add an equalizer. I filtered out the high frequencies (lowpass/highcut) to bring out the bass and the low mids. This sequence will be used as the main sample for the verse and chorus.
On the other sequence i also added an equalizer to filter out the low frequencies (lowcut/highpass). I use this sequence as a chorus.
I used the drums from @beatsbyjblack
And a vocal sample from Biggie.
Enjoy!
