ScriptRunner | Dynamic Confluence page generation from Jira and attach PDF
In this video, I walk you through the implementation of ScriptRunner for Jira Cloud, which enables the dynamic generation of a Confluence page from Jira and the export of that pages as PDF. I demonstrate how to set up a template that captures essential employee onboarding details, such as name, job title, and start date, and how to automate the attachment of the generated offer letter back to the Jira ticket. I also discuss the necessary configurations for PDF export and the use of script listeners to trigger these actions.
